About Willow Tree Wellbeing

Willow Tree Wellbeing was founded by Donna Dickinson, a trauma therapist with 19 years of NHS experience across Talking Therapies and Medical Psychology.

The platform was created in response to a recurring challenge within trauma-informed work: clients often leaving sessions more regulated, but struggling to maintain that sense of steadiness between appointments — particularly during stabilisation and preparation phases.

Willow Tree Wellbeing provides carefully designed, non-processing audio resources intended to support grounding, nervous system regulation, and between-session stabilisation within therapeutic work.

The resources are designed specifically for trauma-informed clinical settings, with clear therapeutic boundaries and careful attention to rhythm, pacing, and nervous system regulation. They are intended to support steadiness and containment within therapy — not trauma processing itself.

Willow Tree Wellbeing is a professional resource space for therapists seeking support tools for:

  • Between-session regulation and stabilisation
  • Grounding during periods of overwhelm
  • Safety, pacing, and clinical containment
  • Bilateral auditory support for nervous system settling
  • Structured auditory focus within trauma-informed work

These resources are not designed to replace therapy. They are intended to sit alongside therapist judgement, training, pacing, and established clinical frameworks.

Willow Tree Wellbeing operates as a deliberately slow and considered space. Resources are developed and released thoughtfully, with care taken to ensure they remain supportive and appropriate for trauma-informed clinical use.

Therapist packs and professional-use resources are offered under a clear licence agreement, supporting ethical and boundaried integration within clinical settings.
